1. This is who I am in the world….

Peace. I trust deeply in the divine plan. Every soul in this universe is guiding and helping me on my soul mission, for this I am humbled and grateful. I tread carefully. I need nothing, I receive everything in gratitude and I am at peace with every soul in the universe.

Always honouring the path of others, with a knowing they are also divine, they are also doing the best they can in every moment, and their life experience is just as important and as special as mine.

2. This is the story that I want rewritten for women…..

The story I am writing for women, is one of deep appreciation for oneness. Moving away from tried and tested and failing constructs of duality, into deep appreciation of both the divine feminine and the sacred masculine. One of harmony, collaboration and leadership.

A deep honouring of the individual’s soul mission, and a collection and distr...

This is who I am in the world….

When I reflect on who I am in the world, I immediately think of- I am a woman, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a friend. I am Canadian, with Salvadorean roots as my parents came as refugees to Canada to give me, and my brothers a better chance at life. I identify as a global citizen, as I have lived in 4 different countries, married a Polish guy while studying in France, and am now living in China for the past 10 years. I am an organizer of people and social activities as I have been running a social enterprise co-founded with my best friend in south China called, Global Friendship.

This is the story that I want rewritten for women…..

The story I want rewritten for women is the one where we can be taught at a young age that women too, can become fierce leaders in any profession that they choose. I must acknowledge that growing up in Canada provided me wi...

1. This is who I am in the world…

I am an alchemist, a creator of systems, deeply curious, and I am love.

I’ve been very attached to labels in my life - whether it's been engineer, optimist, American, mentor, investor, sister and so on. Whatever it is, it has been to justify to myself that I was on a path and could be understood. Not for me, but for society. I know they’re not but I often find paths as far too predictable, plotted, and somewhat boring.

So recently I’ve been flipping my mindset around this - I've been detaching from who I thought I was to help rediscover the woman that’s been there all along. In this process, I’ve discovered my resiliency, creativity, curiosity, my love for life. Most importantly, I learned to trust myself.

For me, the magic of who I am in this world lies in my curiosity, creation, alchemy, and most importantly love.

1. This is who I am in the world..I am a passionate, crazy woman who believes that anything is possible and who is fascinated by the human spirit and what it means to tap into our greatness. I am fiercely independent and proud of it. When I want something, I do it - no matter what logic says. I have travelled alone and have so many stories to tell. My spirit is wild and adventurous and as a result it has led me to experience an unconventional life with so many great stories to tell. I am sensitive, dedicated, loyal, and nuts....I am heart lead and have always followed the road less travelled....and it has made all of the difference.

2. This is the story I want rewritten for women.....peace, equality, respect, honour, power, confidence, limitless, mothers, sisters, valued, safety, love, pure intelligence, connected, loved, self love, self confidence, equal opportunity, div...

Ida Rahayu

My name is Ida Rahayu. I am originally from East Java, Indonesia but I have lived in Bali for over 10 years.
I am just a tini tiny part of the ecosystem in this world and believe that in order to sustain ourselves as human being we need to be able to live in harmony with all other parts of the ecosystem.
Every little thing I do will have impacts; we have options to make them positive. This is the story that I want rewritten for women.
As an individual, we can make positive impacts in every little thing we do including the way we eat.
That’s why I started a program called Seeds to Table in Bali Schools to help people, especially students and our future generations, be aware of the impacts of the food they eat to their health and wellbeing, environment and society.
Seeds to Table is an educational platform that provides solutions to waste problems, unsustainable food production and unhealthy diets that we are facing right now around the world.
I believe that education is the key to help ...

1. This is who I am in the world….
It is really hard to describe who I am in this world because I am sooo many things. I am so many little bits and bobs that make up who I am. I am a radical self love and acceptance coach, I am an intuitive mindset coach, I am a mentor, I am a yogi, I am a witch, I am soul guide, I am a leader, I am a lover, I am a daughter, I am a granddaughter, I am a friend. I can be impatient, I am messy and I am definitely not perfect.

2. This is the story that I want rewritten for women…..
I want all womxn to belong. I want all womxn to love themselves, to see their power and too see their greatness. For womxn to bring each other up, healing the sisterhood wound. Womxn were designed to receive but have been conditioned to give. I want the equilibrium of give and take, self love and love for others to be reinstated. No-one wins when someone loses.

Who I am in the world is a woman who loves, trusts, and serves the greater awareness of all that is. I am a daughter, a sister, a friend, a tree lover, a deeply empathic, gentle, intuitive, and visionary ever evolving being. I am a forest therapy guide, a people connector, and an organiser of events.

The story I want to rewrite for women is that we know our own power and dance in rhythm with the Earth. That we connect to the intuitive wisdom of our womb, that we create, and collaborate, from a place of deep love, trust and connection with ourselves, grounded in a connection and deep loving respect for nature, mother Earth, Gaia, who sustains us.
I want all women to believe in themselves, to open their hearts, minds and souls, to build nourishing connective relationships with other women who can support them and who they can support and als...

The more juicy ones:

  1. This is who I am in the world….

I am a mother to two beautiful daughters, Stevie (3) and Aubrey (1).

I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Shaun.

I am a Psychologist, HypnoBirthing Practitioner and founder/director of The Mindful Birth Movement.

Motherhood changed me so profoundly, and it wasn't until I discovered the word matrescence that I truly understood what I was going through. I felt lost, confused and alone in this huge transformation and I didn't know who I was anymore. Motherhood is HARD. I mean, it is amazing and rewarding, but so challenging and confronting at the same time.

Matrescence is the complete transformation and identity shift of a woman as she moves through motherhood - physical, psychological, emotional, social, economic, cultural and spiritual.

I often struggled with the push and pull between who I used to be, and who I wa...

Who I am in the world:

I am a strong woman because I can face every difficult situation in my life. I never give up and especially when I was being bullied and when I made the decision to amputate my legs when I was 14 years old. These things have made me stronger.

Before my legs were amputated, I was having lots of surgeries and the focus was always on what was wrong with my legs. After they were gone, I felt free. I could finally live. I could dance, play sports, concentrate on my studies and focus on friends for the first time in my life.

A difficult life makes me stronger and it has made me who I am now. I don’t find it easy to give up and I always want to develop myself and other people too.

I am the Chair Woman of the charitable foundation, Cahaya Mutiara. Here with the others, we develop our skills, confidence, motivation, we face the struggles of life together and we have hope for the future and a better life.

This is who I am in the world: I am the light and love in this world, traveling and learning about different cultures and communities is my medicine. I strongly believe that everyone has a journey to complete on this planet.

For me, my journey has been strongly shaped by my early experiences where my family fled Bosnia when it was taken over. As a family, we left our home immediately one day, and spent 10 years in hiding across Europe before we settled and began life from scratch in the US when I was 19 years old. I learned to speak English and I went back to High School, the oldest in my classes.

While I will always be a wounded refugee girl in some way, these experiences mean that I have learned to refuse to accept to settle for less, and I see so much good in all things that cross my path.

This is the story that I want rewritten for women: I would like to rewrite the stories where all wo...
