This is who I am in the world: I am the light and love in this world, traveling and learning about different cultures and communities is my medicine. I strongly believe that everyone has a journey to complete on this planet.

For me, my journey has been strongly shaped by my early experiences where my family fled Bosnia when it was taken over. As a family, we left our home immediately one day, and spent 10 years in hiding across Europe before we settled and began life from scratch in the US when I was 19 years old. I learned to speak English and I went back to High School, the oldest in my classes.

While I will always be a wounded refugee girl in some way, these experiences mean that I have learned to refuse to accept to settle for less, and I see so much good in all things that cross my path.

This is the story that I want rewritten for women: I would like to rewrite the stories where all women around the world would take their powers back , teach and nurture the world that really matters, teach humanity that empathy and understanding is what this world really needs.

This is the story that I next want to write for myself: I am rewriting the Story of my younger version where inner expression is encouraged, where the little girls were given more freedom to live in joyfull state of mind full of expression and support, I would rewrite my story so I can set healthy boundaries with myself and others. I-would rewrite that it is important to express your desires, never be ashamed of who you are in this world, I am a gift just like everyone else. Never stop being curious in Life, keep learning something new everyday, find joy in small things and love yourself.
