1. This is who I am in the world…

I am an alchemist, a creator of systems, deeply curious, and I am love. 

I’ve been very attached to labels in my life - whether it's been engineer, optimist, American, mentor, investor, sister and so on. Whatever it is, it has been to justify to myself that I was on a path and could be understood. Not for me, but for society. I know they’re not but I often find paths as far too predictable, plotted, and somewhat boring. 

So recently I’ve been flipping my mindset around this - I've been detaching from who I thought I was to help rediscover the woman that’s been there all along. In this process, I’ve discovered my resiliency, creativity, curiosity, my love for life. Most importantly, I learned to trust myself.

For me, the magic of who I am in this world lies in my curiosity, creation, alchemy, and most importantly love. 

2. This is the story that I want rewritten for women…
Our projects, roles, and titles are more than who we are. Projects are vehicles for how we experience the world and how others experience us. 

3. This is the story that I next want to write for myself…
Being my true self is the greatest gift I can bring to the world.

It’s a job that has been designed specifically for me.  And it’s also a job that when done right, might make me feel like I’m being stretched and bring up discomfort. If so, congratulations - it’s beautiful to feel those emotions, be vulnerable with others, and allow myself to be seen. Rather than my default reaction of lightening a moment and emotionally bypassing all to feel less. 

This story is an invitation for me to feel, share and experience my true self with others.
