Words of Impact

Ling

I’m Ling, 32 years old, from China, living in Bali, Indonesia now.

  1. I’m a S.E.X. coach and women empowerment leader in China, rewilding the body, mind and soul of Chinese women.

I've been the first holistic educator on Sexuality and women empowerment in China in the last 6 years.

I lead workshops all over the world and online classes over the years and have tens of thousands of followers, subscribers and students.

I help women express their voices, their pains and ecstasy in sex, birth and motherhood, which has been the greatest taboo in our history.

Thousands of women have transformed their life in every way thanks to my teaching and sharing.

I've been featured in several major medias and exposed to over half a million readers.

My work has been also censored, banned and permanently deleted many times from all the media platforms many times due to the sensitivity of the topic.

Taboo is not a ghost to be avoided, but a sacred power to be reclaim...

This is who I am in the world….

I’m determined, a listener, a person who’s willing to give things a go and constantly learning & improving. I believe that being continually evolving and learning is something I learnt from my mum.

I’ve travelled to +23 countries and have lived in 5 different countries. Experiencing different ways of living have shaped how I view life and interact with others and have contributed to my feeling of not belonging.

My work experience has been in the Human Resources industry for over 15 years, working in the corporate world and now with the small business community. I wrote a book for leaders and managers on having a more engaged team and increasing business results.

My family is my priority; I have two young daughters and a wonderful husband with who I shared the journey of parenting and life.

Being a mum has been one of the biggest lessons of unconditio...

Who are you in the world?

I am a brave, courageous, kind, very caring, compassionate, empathetic woman who likes to love and people and be around people. I like to look for things that I can compliment about people because we never have any idea how doing something kind can do for another. I also like to do what I can to make my corner of the world more of a loving and kind place than when I got there.

I am the mother of two adult children, aged 27 and 30. I am a published author. I am loyal, feisty, a great friend, I can be stubborn, fun and outgoing. I like me and who I am. I have had to work hard to find who I am and I could only do it by being brave and stepping into the person I was meant to be before trauma hit my life.

Most people have been through something, for some people it’s been something tougher, but it’s all relevant. Some people have not been through so much and can’t deal wi...

Who are you in the world?

I am a Disability Advocate, an awareness trainer, writer and speaker. I impact the lives of those living with a disability. I have lived experience as a full time wheelchair user and I was diagnosed with Spina Bifada due to me having an incomplete spinal column that means I have limited use of my legs.

I have written two books and I am now working on my third. These are children’s books, and I plan to later work on adults books. I have also developed advocacy and empowerment programs for women who use wheelchairs. I advocate in the community to make a difference in New York through disability awareness and increasing accessibility.

What is the story that you would like rewritten for women?

Women living with a disability are often seen as being less than a woman, however we are the same. We are whole. We are whole on crutches, with an amputation, or a wheelchair. We are no less than.

Living wit...

Wendy Joy Anastasi

Introducing Wendy Joy Anastasi.

From and Lives: Melbourne, Australia

I haven’t always embraced the Joy. I have been too driven to really smell the roses. Recently, I have registered Wendy Joy as my new business name and started blogging under this name. I have stepped into the Joy.

I am 62 and proud to be. I encourage others to celebrate their age and plan to make each birthday a celebration of life because like it or not, what is the alternative.

In 1959 I was born in Melbourne. I lived in Springvale in my growing up years. I met my husband at 17. Married just before my 20th birthday. Brought a home in Narre Warren. Lived in the same house for the next 35 years. My 3 daughters were all born before my 30 th birthday. All predictable…maybe, but we we’re happy.

In my early 30s life changed at lot. I lost my mum to cancer. My girls were 7, 5 and 3 at the time. Huge loss for me. Mum and I were very close. I was the eldest of 5 and my father walked out on us when I was 10. Mum was on h...

This is who I am in the world….

Right now, I'm not so sure of who I am in the world, but I'm excited to find out!

This is the story that I want to be rewritten for women…..

The story I want to be rewritten for women is that we have to be it all. And when I say all, I mean all that society expects from us. Successful but not too successful. Sexy but not too sexy. Smart but not too smart. Great moms, and career women, and fantastic cooks, and in shape, and family-oriented, and, and, and...

It is my wish for you that you get to be IT ALL.

And when I say all, I mean everything and more than you ever wished for, dreamed about, or imagined for yourself.

This is the story that I next want to write for myself….

The story I want to write for myself next is my story of AND.
The story of Freedom and Commitment.
The story of Work and Rest.
The story of Nomadic and Home.
The story of the L...

1. This is who I am in the world….

I am a curious, playful, seeker of truth and lover of magical mysteries.

I like time to contemplate and connect with the natural world and the spirit/essence of the world and all things in it.

I like to exercise my mind through learning new things, surrounding myself with books and lovers of knowledge, different cultures and perspectives of viewing the world.

I am also beginning to understand more and more the importance of wisdom, and to continue opening myself up to observe and connect with the wisdom that each one of us carries inside.

While doing these things, like so many of us, I have also been on a personal healing journey which I understand more and more is one of the greatest gifts I can give to the world.

2. This is the story that I want rewritten for women…..

I believe that most women (and children and men) know inherently the impor...

Who I am in the world:

I run Strutt Empire, which is all about helping women to be empowered, love themselves and Strutt their thing. It started through dance. The background is that I’m a curvy girl. I’ve got the boobs and the booty and when I was a teenager I started dancing and I just felt like I never fitted in with all of these cool wafer thin girls and I used to get told “tuck your butt” and I was, but I have a big butt. It’s there for everyone. You see me and you know it’s there.

I just felt like I didn’t fit in. I wasn’t that typical dancer type, so I wanted a career in dance but I ended up pursuing a career in corporate instead. You get told it’s difficult and if you don’t have a certain aesthetic or if you started later in life, it’s just not possible for you. And then coming into my early 20’s I got back into dancing again and I had a great mentor who said I could d...

My awakening began 27 years ago........when I became a mother

My life would never be the same.

I created human life and was responsible for this life.

I was taken on a journey of personal growth, emotional healing and spiritual awakening.

I was confronted with my demons and was taught patience, unconditional love and the need to let go of control.

I forgot who I was.

I was a mother, lover, wife, daughter, sister, friend, employee,

I had this DEEP ...
