I am storyformed. Who I am in the world is heavily influenced by the stories that have burned

themselves into my heart and memory. Books have been a constant in my life since childhood.

From a very young age, I had a vivid imagination and felt that I was very different from the

people around me. The ideas and concepts I learned from books seemed “too out there” or “too

far-fetched” for someone like me. I was often teased for choosing to stay inside and read instead

of going outside to play. Apparently, it wasn’t normal for a brown-skinned girl to read so much.

This led to me feeling like I didn’t belong. So naturally, I tried my best to fit it. It didn’t work.

Prior to 2020, I spent the last fifteen years working as a corporate executive assistant in various

organizations. These positions allowed me to work with wonderful people on interesting

This is who I am in the world….

Daughter, sister, teenager, feminist, ally, citizen of the world with an American lens.  An artist, a creator, anti-fast fashion, Swiftee, cat mom. Compassionate, loyal, thoughtful and hopeful.

This is the story that I want rewritten for women…..

Let women be themselves, in total, with all of their differences, complexities, and ambitions.  One’s skewed feminist ideal should not create competition amongst us. We should be more accepting of each other and supportive.  Open to learning.  Every woman’s story is different, and we can’t mold them to one image.

This is the story that I next want to write for myself….

I want to never let go of my ambition or hopefulness. I want to love myself completely.  I want to be authentic to myself, and committed to not letting outside influences deter me from showing up as my true self...

This is who I am in the world….

To me, my inside thoughts of myself, I’ve always been altruistic. A bleeding heart liberal who has felt

and carried the pain of others because of my sensitive and empathetic heart. I am a mother, healer, a

lover, a creator of sanctuary and safe places for others to be themselves, unjudged, and cared for. To

others I think I present a combination of witchy voodoo yogi healer and pro-woman business executive

that pushes the narrative around performance and competence and promotes women and girls as vital

contributors to the economy, to workforce, and how a feminine approach to leading is preferred over

stereotypical masculine archetypes. I am a passionate believer in equal rights, social justice,

environmental preservation and in pushing that narrative publicly and privately, it is who I am.

This is who I am in the world:

My name is Neha and I was born in Singapore and I live in Sydney currently. I am an Edutainer, A Coach and a Writer who is also a Mother, a daughter and a friend. I’ve spent the last 15 years educating and nurturing young minds to reaching their full potential and being confident. In the last three years I’ve dedicated my time and will continue to dedicate my time to raising my child to be self-assured whilst celebrating and owning her diversity.

This is the story I want rewritten for women:

Growing up in Singapore, I always felt somewhat displaced, not really knowing where I fit in. The displacement continued when I moved to Australia, and more so, because there weren’t examples of women who looked like me doing the things that I was doing or leading. It took learning about myself, studying coaching, just growing into my skin to realise that I didn’t need to fit in any kind of mould and that I could shine as who I was.

This is who I am in the world

I am a Social Worker, Foster Carer, Mother, Christian, Wife, Sister, Daughter and Traveller.

I became a Foster Carer in my early twenties and devoted ten years to raising children and

adolescents, alongside having my own son and my work as a Social Worker in the Out of Home Care

sector. While the past decade has been tumultuous, challenging, eye opening, rewarding, and at

times traumatic, I am ready to move into the next chapter of my life where I discover who I really am

in this world and what I want for myself.

Several weeks ago, I took a leap of faith and moved to

Thailand, with the belief that this is where I begin my journey of discovering who I am and what I

was made for. I hope that over the next few years, I am able to add further adjectives to the above

description of myself, as I feel I am still only just beginning my journ...

I emigrated to Perth WA Australia twenty years past, I was born in a small village of NaeNae, in the township of Lower, Hutt New Zealand. The Story I would like to be read about myself is I believe, that to have kindness empathy and respect given, then you must show it in how you live your own life. And this I do, by showing all the Above attributes where I can.

I’m a firm believer in the power of the word, hence I am a Multipublished bestselling author, and my chosen genre is emotional growth, but in story form. So, when you read my story, it slowly settles into your gut that we as women have the power to change the world. Yes, I know, you heard this a million times before.

However, I’m a firm believer that what we show and teach others will affect our futu...

WHO AM I IN THE WORLD…..
I am woman. I am spirit in human form. I am energy.

I walk a shamanic path, I speak with Spirit and I play in the realms of the esoteric and mystical.
From a very young age I felt the tug of an unseen world playing upon my senses. I felt deeply, I communicated with animals and nature, and my being understood energy (although it took many years for my brain to catch up!).

My life path has led me down the roads of performing arts and into the industry of event management, both of which exposed me to many wonderful people and places. Yet I was left with an unfulfillment that lingered until I started to weave the practice and teaching of working with Spirit into my business and craft.

Now I work as a Shamanic practitioner, Ceremonialist, Trance Channeler and Spiritual Teacher. I’m a facilitator of healing, spiritual development and teaching others how to use these pract...

It’s my birthday, so I decided to answer my own questions  <3

Me in the world:

I’m HUGE hearted, passionate, expressive, introverted, creative, I care a lot about and am fascinated by people and anything humanity related, curious, an explorer, a sunshine seeker, a free spirit, determined, intuitive, a dancer, a dreamer,  I see beauty where others may miss it, I notice a lot, a space holder, facilitator, leader, I love bringing people together and setting the scene for magic to unfold.  I’m wise and thoughtful, sensitive, resilient, a BIG thinker, I’m driven mostly by an ENORMOUS cause in the world, by community,  I’m deeply soulful, bold in my own way and quirky.

The world of titles would include Founder/Director of The Aspire Series, social worker, coach, yoga teacher, daughter etc etc etc. I have struggled with titles for a long time and have always felt that any given title has felt...

  1. This is who I am in the world….

Who I am in the world is deeply influenced from my maternal lineage, to be bold and courageous

with our dreams, actions, and lives. In the 1950s my grandmother decides to embark on a worldwide

trip with her friend from Sydney.

It was a time when women didn’t travel independently, and her

family didn’t think she would make the trip. That fired her up more, and she boarded a ship to travel

to Europe. I got to relive those memories of her trip with her on the eve of my worldwide adventure.

She had a large photo album, of small black and white photographs of her trip all around the world.

These were in chronological order, and she remembered everything to a tee of her trip, connections,

and memories. She even made the newspaper in Kansas, as women travelling like this was so radical

at the time.

When I started my own a...
